BCG Casey

A chatbot case with a clock, not a leaked transcript

Forward-only, 6–7 questions, 25 minutes, live exhibits, math, MECE brainstorm, 60-second rec. First two questions of CopperCup need no account. All ten cases are open during the free week and included in every plan.

Five scoring dimensions. Independent practice. Not a BCG product. Included in every plan.

How to structure a Casey answer

Casey is interviewer-led by chatbot. You do not get to drive a 20-minute tree. You get 6–7 forward-only questions, a clock, and a rec at the end. Answer the question on the screen, not the case you wish you had.

  1. Read the asked-for output. Recommendation, exhibit so-what, MECE list, or a number. One of those. Lead with it.
  2. Two supports. A number from the exhibit, then the mechanism. Do not recap the prompt.
  3. Stop. Two or three sentences. The bot will not reward a partner-dinner close on question two.
CopperCup, a math turn
“Operating profit is 91 × 28% minus $18m, about $7.5m. If volume falls 10% with price held, contribution drops about $2.5m and profit is closer to $5m. Operating leverage cuts both ways. I would not buy volume with another discount.”

Usual miss. A full issue tree on a yes/no question, or a recap of the case so far. Casey grades the turn in front of you.
