AI interview module
They will ask how the model works. Not whether you have used ChatGPT.
Generalist McKinsey, BCG, and Bain cases now include an AI layer. One lesson on the basics and the frontier. One original case. Then stop reading and sit the room.

The lesson is free. The scored case uses a case credit, same as any other CoachNed interview. Independent. Not affiliated with McKinsey, BCG, or Bain.

How AI actually works
Machine learning, LLMs, RAG vs fine-tuning, agents and harnesses — in English, with the line you say in the case.

What this module is
Not a QuantumBlack or BCG X technical loop. Those still exist, and they go deeper. This is the new generalist bar: can you tell a copilot from an agent, RAG from fine-tuning, and a demo score from the cost of a wrong payout — then close like a consultant.
The lesson is deliberately simple. Training vs inference. What “good” means when 98% accuracy is a trap. Prompt, retrieve, fine-tune, or give the model tools. Agents and the harness around them. A little on reasoning models and evals so you do not sound like 2023.
The case is Clearclaim Mutual, a P&C insurer that wants generative AI on claims. The math is handle cost versus leakage. The judgment is whether you hand the model the payout button.
FAQ
Is this only for QuantumBlack, BCG X, or Bain Vector?
No. Those specialist loops go deeper. This module is the generalist bar: how machine learning actually works, in English, then one case that uses it.
Do I need a technical background?
No. If you can size a value pool and explain RAG vs fine-tuning in one minute, you are in range.
Does the lesson spend a case credit?
No. The lesson is free. The scored Clearclaim interview uses a case credit, same as any other case. Read mode does not.
Is CoachNed affiliated with McKinsey, BCG, or Bain?
No. Independent practice. Original prompts. The firms named are for interview-style prep only.
