Built by a Big Four partner · 64 original cases · 550+ drills
Walk into the case like you’ve already sat it.
The first round is where offers die, and almost nobody has sat a real case before it. Ned asks out loud, you answer out loud, and a seven-score debrief quotes what you said and names the one drill to run next. Everything is free for 7 days. No card.
Free week, everything unlocked. Then $120 for a whole recruiting season or $49/mo. 14-day no-questions guarantee.

Everything
The path to the offer
One interviewer. Every room that stands between you and the job.
Ned looks the same on the live case, the debrief, the drill, and the screens. That is the point. You stop switching tools and start getting better.

01
Sit the live case
CopperCup. About 18 minutes. He asks out loud. You answer out loud, or type any turn. This is the room, not a worksheet with a mic.
Sit it free →

02
Read the debrief
Seven scores. The leak named. Quotes from what you said. Then one drill — not another full case.

03
Drill what leaked
Structure, math, exhibits, sizing, synthesis. Graded, with the model answer next to yours. As many as you want during the free week.

Casey, CCA, Sea Wolf, Red Rock, SOVA, PEI. The tests that happen before anyone sits you across a table.

How you practice
Pick the room that matches how ready you are
All three are open during your free week. Live if you want the real pressure. Guided if you want hints. Learning if you have never cased. Never sat one? The five steps, with BrightTrail said out loud, are on how to do a case interview.

Live interview
Recommended. Ned asks. You answer out loud. Then the 7-score debrief.

Guided
Safest first rep. Typed, hints on every turn, same debrief after.

Everything else in the room
The screens before the interview, and the questions after it
All of it is open during the free week and included in every plan. Nothing here is an add-on.
BCG Casey
The chatbot case
Ten original forward-only cases with a clock. First two questions need no account.
BCG CCA · McKinsey Solve
The numerical screens
Eight numericals on a 12:00 clock, Solve-style games, Bain SOVA. Same pressure as the real one.
McKinsey PEI
Four follow-ups on one story
The way the PEI actually runs: one story, pushed on until it is specific.
AI literacy
How the model works, then a case
Generalist interviews now ask. Twelve-minute lesson, then SurePath Mutual, scored.
Also inside: 772 live consulting roles and 26 firm events, pulled from the firms' own pages, with an application tracker.
Meet Ned
A partner who still remembers freezing in question one
Ned’s first consulting interview was a humiliation in slow motion: a market-size he had never practiced, a profitability exhibit that hid the real driver in the footnote, and a fit question he answered like a student instead of a colleague. He still got the offer. He never forgot the feeling.
As a partner he is mostly a figurehead with a dinner reservation. He wows clients at fine-dining tables after dark — the origination, the reassurance, the bottle that says the relationship is safe. The daytime calendar looks full and is not. CoachNed is what he built with the leftover hours.
He wanted the first-interview version of himself to have a ruthless, patient interviewer on demand: AI-simulated cases, scored debriefs, and course material that names the next rep. Not a marketplace of human coaches. Ned, on tap, until the room feels familiar.
The full storyCoachNed is Ned’s independent project. It is not affiliated with Deloitte, McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or any other firm named here for interview-style practice. The cases on this site are AI-simulated.

What it replaces
One hour with a former MBB interviewer runs $200–$400.
The Season Pass is $120 for ninety days of Ned asking, grading, and assigning the next drill, as many times as you can sit down. Use the human for the one session where presence matters. Use Ned for the forty reps before it.
Recruiting across two cycles? Annual is $249, everything, all year.
Or start the free week. No card.
Still on the fence?
What exactly is free?
Everything, for seven days, no card. Live interviews with Ned, the seven-score debriefs, every drill, the Casey library, CCA, PEI, the resume report. After the week, Quick math, the two sample walkthroughs, the AI lesson, and the first two courses stay free forever. Your history and debriefs stay on your account either way.
Which plan should I pick?
Interviews in the next three months: the Season Pass, $120 once, ninety days, nothing renews. Interviews in the next few weeks, or you want to keep it open-ended: Pro, $49 a month, cancel in two clicks from Settings. Recruiting across two cycles: Annual, $249. Every plan is the whole thing. There is nothing to add on.
What is the guarantee?
Fourteen days, no conditions. If you do not feel more ready for your first round, reply to any email from Ned and the full amount comes back. You keep your debriefs. No case-count thresholds, no forms.
How is this different from a human case coach?
A former MBB interviewer charges $200–$400 for an hour and you get one case. Ned is on tap for as many as you can sit, grades every one on seven dimensions with quotes from what you said, and names the drill to run next. Most candidates should do both, in this order: forty reps with Ned, then one or two human sessions for presence and hint-taking right before the real round.
Will I know what to practice next?
Yes. Every debrief names the weakest dimension, maps it to a specific drill room, and can hand the thread to Ned in chat so the next rep is about that, not about everything.
Is the voice mode a gimmick?
It is the closest thing to the room. Ned reads the brief out loud, asks, waits, and follows up. You answer out loud, or type any turn you would rather not say. Ending early still gets you a debrief on what you covered. Guided mode is the same case typed with a hint on every turn if you want the safer first rep.
Is this built for McKinsey, BCG, and Bain-style prep?
Yes. Structuring, business judgment, quant, exhibits, synthesis, and client communication, plus original practice for Casey, CCA, McKinsey Solve-style games, Bain SOVA, and the PEI. CoachNed is independent and unaffiliated with those firms, and it is not a Deloitte product.
Can I cancel Pro?
Yes, from Settings or the Stripe billing portal, in two clicks. Access runs to the end of the period. The Season Pass never renews, so there is nothing to cancel.
Why does this cost less than one coaching hour?
Because the point is volume. A first-year MBB package is $130k or more. The Season Pass is $120 for ninety days of reps. If it does not make you better, the guarantee returns it.
Does my history carry forward?
Yes. Scores, debriefs, transcripts, and your notes for Ned stay on the account, so his recommendations reflect what you have already sat.
