Week-one toolkit

Resume, letter, tracker, PEI bank, one tree, one sizing equation, one scored case, one drill. That is the kit. It is all on this site.

A zip file is not a plan. Here is the kit, in order, with the actual pages attached.

1. Resume and cover letter (90 minutes)

Read the resume page. Rewrite three bullets with a number. Read the letter. Write one office line that is not tourism.

Then grade the resume. One free review.

2. Tracker (15 minutes)

Open the application tracker. Add five firms you would actually accept. Kill two. Put a deadline on the rest.

3. PEI bank (45 minutes)

Open the PEI workbook. Fill twelve one-liners. Expand the two you could tell at dinner.

4. One profitability tree (20 minutes)

Steal this, then customize to the client in front of you. Do not recite it.

Decision: why is profit down / how do we grow profit.

  • Revenue
    • Price
    • Volume
    • Mix
  • Cost
    • Variable (COGS, take-rate, freight)
    • Fixed (labour, rent, overhead)
    • One-time

First question: is this a revenue problem or a cost problem. Second: which branch is large enough to care. If 80% of the swing is mix, your tree should show mix in the first 20 seconds.

Run GreenBite after this.

5. One market-sizing sheet (15 minutes)

Write this on paper until it is boring.

  1. What "market" means (units, revenue, or profit)
  2. The equation
  3. Three to five assumptions you can defend
  4. Multiply with 1–2 significant figures
  5. Sanity-check against a company or a GDP share you know

Worked, short: mattresses in France. ~30m households, replace every 10 years → 3m mattresses / year. Mix 70% at €400, 30% at €900 → ~€1.65bn. IKEA plus specialists can share that. Stop.

More of this lives in market sizing questions and lesson 02.

6. First scored case

EV Charging Guided if you want the safest first rep.

UrbanBrew Voice if you want the room.

Free account: one full scored case. No card.

7. First drill

Structure if your tree was a slogan.

Math if the equation showed up late.

One skill. Then the next. Free accounts get a 3-day drill window.

Do this week, in this order

Mon: resume bullets + letter office line. Tue: tracker + three firms. Wed: PEI one-liners. Thu: tree + GreenBite learning. Fri: EV Charging scored. Sat: one drill family, 25 minutes. Sun: 20-minute tracker ritual. Then stop.

If you skip the scored case, you did not use the toolkit. You decorated your desktop.
